What does a typical relationship between Centro and a media partner look like?
Centro is not a network or rep firm. Although we do operate a proprietary premium ad exchange, the Centro Exchange, our core business is to service marketers and make it easy and efficient for them to buy guaranteed, reserved digital media placements. We work with every type of digital media outlet-premium publishers, mobile and video platforms, digital out of home and place based solutions, networks, exchanges and more. We value the working relationships we have with our media partners and aim to make it easy for them to do business with us on behalf of the marketers we represent.
How does Centro determine the right media mix for a plan?
Depending on Centro’s relationship with the marketer, we may play a strategic planning role in the selection of sites, or we may simply be executing the buy. When Centro handles the campaign planning, we utilize multiple 3rd party research sources to measure a site’s audience, reach and index. We also look at a site’s ability to work across a multitude of different ad units and placements, as well as their brand safety scores and viewability metrics. Our robust data warehouse also houses the historical rates, delivery averages, and performance of the more than 20,000 campaigns we’ve executed over the past 10+ years. Combined, all of these factors inform our media buying decisions.
How do we get our site included in your database?
Centro maintains a comprehensive list of sites in our publisher database. After you speak with our Publisher Relations team, we’ll determine if your site will make sense for our clients. If it’s a good fit for both parties, we’ll gather important site information including URL, offline property (if relevant), parent company, and relevant sales and operational contact information.
