Campaign Objectives: GM sought to create national awareness via credible local sites for their "Live Green Go Yellow" campaign. This local online campaign introduced their new environmentally friendly way to power vehicles and ran concurrently with their national TV campaign.

Centro Solution: Centro worked with GM Planworks to reach the local audiences via highly credible sites including leading local newspaper and TV sites. The recommended creative approach, High-Impact Homepage Re-Skins, was the first of its kind to be executed on a local level. Collaboration with the local sites was vital. Centro worked closely with editors and web designers of all 20+ web sites on the plan to make sure each site could launch the Homepage Re-Skins and do it on the same day. Because of this collaboration and Centro's close relationships with the local publishers, Centro was able to execute this ground-breaking campaign in record time, effectively blanketing local homepages nationwide with GM's "Live Green Go Yellow" message.
